She has collaborated on multiple tracks across many genres and has succeeded in pacing her career while crafting her sound and developing her brand.Sound wise, you can expect a combination of kasi flavors, soulful lyrics, jazzy elements and tribal undertones. Holly is no stranger to collaborations and she strives to craft music that is true to her roots and journey as an African Musician. Over the years and since the age of 13, she has collaborated with musicians from Mozambique, Senegal, Congo, and Nigeria.“I met Holly six years ago. She was only 14 and had just released an Afro-Pop EP Strawberry Skies. She already had the crossover appeal that many artists have to work years for. Five years down the line she has become one of the rising House vocalists in the country.”Buhle Mbonambi – SM Magazine Sunday Tribune.In 2011 - while touring as part of the Ukhozi FM Roadshow - Holly was introduced to renowned producer and performer, Mondli Ngcobo (Black Coffee, Oskido, Big Nuz, Khoze Khuse) who suggested they collaborate on some music.In 2012 she began working on a new sound and released her first Afro House single “Inhliziyo Yami” produced and co-written by Mondli Ngcobo.Holly then went on to release a three track EP that piqued the interest of many local labels, and she was offered a licensing deal with Sony as well asa 5-album deal with Soul Candi Records. Hollyonly released her second single Bang Bang under the Soul Candi label and later signed a licensing deal with Content Connect Africa where her full album Vanilla House was released digitally. Holly has worked the digital space for two years and achieved almost 400 000 paid downloads on tracks from her albums across the various platforms. She is recognised by MTN as the biggest download Artist in the Newcomers category.
