Kevin Maduna

Kevin Maduna already building a name for himself as an emerging soul/ jazz artist was born in Diepkloof Soweto. Kevin was introduced to music at the tender age of Ten years, where he sang at church and got to grow and nature the gift of singing that he had.
It never ended at church but after being part of the high school choir, Kevin went on to further his studies at the prestigious Central Johannesburg College where he is still completing his Diploma in jazz and popular music.
In the year, 2014 Kevin came out first from over 20 bands on a regional competition hosted and funded by the Department of Arts and Culture called Puisano. This competition gave Kevin a great opportunity to perform on great platforms like Macufe jazz festival, Standard Bank Joy of Jazz and Moretele Park Jazz Tribute concert to mention a few.

Winning Puisano jazz bands competition drove Kevin to be more passionate and grow his music; before the year 2014 ended, he released his first single titled Man down.
It did not stop in the year 2014, in the year 2015 Kevin went on to audition for Tastic rice advertisement auditions where he was chosen to sing and act lead role for the advertisement that made him discover his other artistic side, which is acting.

Kevin released another single featuring his band the Love World Band titled Luphelile on 25 January 2016, which is available on iTunes for downloads.
